Colleen Kiyuna initially joined The Shedd as a Venue Assistant before transitioning into her new role in the Stewardship Department, where she is primarily engaged in graphic design, communications, and marketing. Originally from Salem, Oregon, Colleen moved to Eugene in 2009, and she and her wonderful husband, Zach, have happily called it home ever since. She earned a B.A. in English from the University of Oregon before quickly pivoting toward a life centered on creative and artistic expression. Over the years, her practice has included painting, dance, photography, and videography, all of which continue to shape her approach to work and life. When she’s not at work, she can usually be found seeking out great food, starting a new craft project, or falling down a research rabbit hole on a topic that has captured her attention.
